Carnegies KL has challenged the Sub 12's in Singapore and the remaining Carnegies Singapore die hards to a game of week-end of golf in Kuala Lumpur. The details are as follows: -

Priced at RM220++, including Green Fees + Buggy
Afternoon - Check into
Crowne Plaza Mutiara Kuala Lumpur - Jalan Sultan Ismail
Evening - Meet at Carnegies KL - Jalan Sultan Ismail

Afternoon - Depart for Singapore or stay another day
Details : This is a partners / wife's / girlfriend / boyfriends / husband type weekend (all 5 if you are lucky an don't have time for golf! )
From Singapore we are joining forces with the Sub 12's, people with a handicap of 12 or less, the rest of us will be playing white tee's and not taking it all that seriously. Paul Hobbs from KL and Paul F Smith are the fine keepers and captains of the over 12's. Note Peter Bouras is the captain and organiser of the Singaporeunder 12's (score not age!) The basic deal is the good golfers will be a team of 12 (possible 16) if we get the number and the rest of us will be of a team of 12,16,20,24 whatever we can get basically.
We will try our best to cater for everyone, but it will be a first come first served basis, the Sub 12vs are already almost full. Any over flow can go the +12 ers but they will be severally fined before starting!!

Please note this is a wife/g/f/b/f type week-end and some are bring their families, we have already got 1 four ball for the females!
As for Transport , please make your own way there and back, there are too many people wanting different arrangements to organise everyone. For those who would like to car pool, let me know if you have room in your car and those who want a lift let me know and I will try and match up.
Basically all money will have to be upfront as this is an un-sponsored event, though we expect to squeeze some prizes out of Carnegies KL.
The format:
Essentially the format will be Ryder cup'ish, instead of alternate shot we have added the Texas scramble as most guys want to play their own ball.
Generally the format will be as follows:
Friday 21st April 2006:
After work, or earlier for those taking a day off, drive to Malacca, check into hotel, welcome dinner drinks etc etc
Saturday 22nd April 2006:
2 man team best ball in the morning, followed by woofing down lunch and then a 2 man team Texas scramble in the afternoon.
Sunday 23rd April 2006:
Individual in the morning followed by Lunch and presentations so that everyone can drive back home in the afternoon/early evening.
