Since 2003 the AST's membership has also grown from strength to strength from the original
75 AST founder members who participated in the 2003 ASM - Singapore and in 2009 the AST's Senior Professional golfer membership is well over 380.

The 2009 ASM @ Malaysia will comprise a maximum field of 125 senior professional golfers and will incorporate a 2 day cut, with the top 75 including ties contesting the final day.

Senior Professional golfers listed below who competed in previous ASM @ Malaysia tournaments and AST founder members who participated in the 2003 ASM - Singapore are automatically eligible to contest the 2009 ASM @ Malaysia tournament.
