Preceding the 2005 ASM @ Palm Resort professional tournament are 6 ASM Pro-Ams to be staged from Tues 8th through Thurs 10th November 2005 in a 3 Amateur and 1 Pro format where avid golfers like you have the opportunity to entertain corporate clients or just enjoy the experience with your golfing friends.
The 2005 ASM @ Palm Resort offers a truly unique opportunity for you to participate as corporate teams with your VIP guests in a professional sporting event, an experience that presents numerous corporate sponsorship & branding opportunities at several levels guaranteeing excellent exposure in the Asian region and also internationally.
Affordable modestly priced sponsorship packages have been created to ensure corporate sponsors the opportunity of participating fully in all aspects of the tournament.
ASM Golf has the ability to offer any organisation the opportunity to create a sponsorship package at a level of value that is suitable to their needs and to maximize the organisation's investment.
Individual places on an ASM Pro-Am can be purchased, subject to availability.
The nine (9) winning (lowest gross scoring) individual participants from each of the 6 Pro-Ams will secure for themselves places in the ASM @ Palm Resort Amateur Semi-Finals to be contested on the first two days of the ASM professional tournament on the Fri 10th & Sat 11th Nov 2005. As was the case at the 2003 ASM Amateur golfers will again be able to participate in the first two days of the 2005 ASM @ Palm Resort, playing alongside participating Senior PGA Pros.
The Friday 11th and Saturday 12th November 2005, will feature a maximum of 35 four-person flights to be played in a 3 Senior PGA Pro & 1 Amateur format.
The 6 leading best gross scoring amateurs, (leading 3 Amateurs from Friday 11th and Saturday 12th Pro-Am) competing in a final play off on the Sunday 13th November 2005.
The ASM Pro-Ams and the 2005 ASM @ Palm Resort Pro-Am & Social Golf Package include far more than just a round of golf and 18th hole VIP hospitality - it offers a unique opportunity for you to be involved in a significant moment in golfing history - the expansion of the Asian Seniors Tour into Malaysia.

The Asian Seniors Tour and its Sponsors are pleased to announce that the 2005 ASM @ Palm Resort is to be staged from 11 - 13 November 2005 following the success of the 2003 ASM - Singapore event.

The 2003 ASM event format allowed many of Singapore’s and the Asian region’s leading amateur golfers to compete in the ASM Amateur Finals, playing along side senior professional golfers competing in the 2003 ASM. Click here for results of the 2003 ASM.
The 2005 ASM will be played for the first time at the prestigious Palm Resort Golf & Country Club, and the field will be expanded to accommodate one hundred and five (105) senior professionals.
The 2005 ASM will feature some of the world's finest senior professionals golfers, with invitations extended to many of Asia's and the World’s top players.

7.30am - Prepare for ASM Pro-Am - head to designated Tee-Boxes
8.00am - ASM Pro-Am - Shotgun Start - Cempaka Golf Course with Motorised Golf Carts
snacks and refreshments in buggies and on-course
1.00pm - ASM Pro-Am game ends
1.45pm - Lunch & Prize Giving - top 9 best gross scoring amateur golfers qualify for ASM Fri 11th Semi Finals
3.30pm - return to Hotel - afternoon free
7.30pm - 2005 ASM Welcome Cocktail Reception
