The MacPherson PCF Fund Raising Golf Tournament was held on 5th November 2004 in support of the MacPherson PAP Community Foundation (PCF).
Mr Matthias Yao Chih, Mayor of South East District and MP for MacPherson was the Guest-of-Honour.
The main objective in organising this Golf Tournament was to meet the new guidelines set by Ministry of Education (MOE). MOE has set the guidelines for all Pre-School Centres to convert their existing White-Board Classrooms into Learning Corner Style for a more effective teaching system. The cost for constructing each of the Learning Corners is about $20,000.00. Presently, the income from our school fees is unable to meet at the end of the day and we are operating at a deficit.
The Golf Tournament was held on Friday, 5 November 2004, at Orchid Country Club.
