The reputation of being an exceptional putter has deservedly stayed good with former South African PGA Champion Tienie since he won the German Open in Dusseldorf in storming fashion. He started his challenge for that title with a record 66 and 10 single putts, having had to pre-qualify for the event.
Tienie Britz played in the inaugural 2003 Asian Seniors Masters in Singapore and finished 3rd.
