Welcome to the Ombak Desaru Classic 2010 series
The Ombak Desaru Classic 2010 series which now celebrates its 13th year and continues to be hailed as Malaysia's and one of Asia's leading
Men's amateur open stroke play golf tournament series.
The multi legged Ombak Desaru Classic 2010 series is open to male golfers of any age, and this year will for the first time include a Men's Senior and a Ladies division.
The top 5 Best Gross scoring golfers from the Mens Open division, plus the leading Senior and Lady golfer from each leg qualify for places to contest the two day Grand Finals of the Ombak Desaru Classic 2010 series to be staged on the Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th September 2010 in Desaru, Johor.
The Ombak Desaru Classic 2010 series consisting of over 20 qualifying rounds to be staged at various quality venues across the length and breadth of Peninsular and East Malaysia also includes legs to be staged in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei and Cambodia

* Each golf club will charge a (non-member) registration fee which is usually no more than RM 300 which is inclusive of goodie bag (valud at over RM 250), green & buggy fees (a caddie will cost extra), plus lunch and or dinner and prizes (valued at over RM 12,000)

Rules & Regulations
1) The Ombak Desaru Classic 2010 series is a Stroke Play event.
2) Participants must play with Precept golf balls ONLY! any type of Precept golf ball may be used, and must be declared on the first T Box, failure to do so will result in disqualification.
3) In the event that a Hole in 1 is achieved at the hole where the LMG Trekker SUV is offered as the prize, this prize will be shared equally between other participants from the Ombak Desaru Classic 2010 series and the Grand Finalists who may have also achieved a Hole in 1
4) All play shall be in accordance with the rules of golf as approved by the R&A Golf Club of St. Andrews, the USGA and the prevailing local rules of the respective golf clubs.
