Welcome to the Ombak Desaru Classic 2010 series
The Ombak Desaru Classic 2010 series which celebrates its 13th year continues to be hailed as Malaysia's and one of Asia's leading Men's amateur open stroke play tournaments.
The multi legged Ombak Desaru Classic series is open to male golfers of any age, and this year will for the first time include a Men's Senior and Junior division.
The top 5 Best Gross scoring golfers from the Mens Open division, plus the leading Senior and Junior golfer from each leg qualify for places to contest the two day Grand Finals of the Ombak Desaru Classic 2010 series on 25th & 26th Sept 2010 at Desaru GCC, in Johor.

* Each participating golf club will charge (non-members) a registration fee for entering a qualifying leg which is usually no more than RM 300 which is inclusive of goodie bag (valued at over RM 250), green & buggy fees (a caddie will cost extra), plus lunch and or dinner and prizes (valued at over RM 12,000)

Ombak Desaru Classic 2010 series Rules & Regulations
1) The ODC 2010 series is a Stroke Play event.
2) Participants must play with Precept golf balls ONLY! any type of Precept golf ball may be used, and must be declared on the first T Box, failure to do so will result in disqualification.
3) In the event that a Hole in 1 is achieved at the hole where the LMG Trekker SUV is offered as the prize, this prize will be shared equally between other participants from the Ombak Desaru Classic 2010 series and the Grand Finalists who may have also achieved a Hole in 1
4) All play shall be in accordance with the rules of golf as approved by the R&A Golf Club of St. Andrews, the USGA and the prevailing local rules of the respective golf clubs.
