The 2009 ASM @ Malaysia now in its 5th year is presented by the Oxley Capital Group and will be staged from 13 - 15 July 2009 incorporating a 2 day cut with seventy five (75) senior professional golfers contesting the Final Day of the 2009 ASM @ Malaysia on Wednesday 15th July 2009.
The "Senior Master's" theme aptly reflects what the annual Asian Senior Masters @ Malaysia event has to offer, 125 top caliber senior golfing professionals, each having played the game for over thirty years with hundreds of international victories among them.
Some 80 Amateur golfers (40 each day) comprising the 9 best gross scoring amateurs from each of the numerous ASM @ Malaysia Pro-Ams staged, along with Sponsor and media nominations will participate in the 2009 ASM @ Malaysia Amateur Semi-Finals on Monday 13th & Tuesday 14th July 2009 playing along side three Senior Professional golfers contesting the 1st two days of the 2009 ASM @ Malaysia at the Tasik Puteri GCC with all participants riding in buggies restricted to the cart path and or walking with their caddies.
Each flight will comprise 3 Senior Professional golfers & 1 leading ASM @ Malaysia Amateur Semi-Finalist
The top 3 best gross scoring 2009 ASM @ Malaysia Amateur Semi-Finalists from each day (6 amateur golfers in total) will secure places in the 2009 ASM @ Malaysia Amateur Finals to be staged on Wednesday 15th July 2009.
