The results for the Oxley Capital Group's - Mens Amateur Open linked to the Srixon Desaru Classic 09 played at Singapore Island Country Club where the top 5 Best Gross scoring participants qualify to play the GRAND FINALS of the Srixon Desaru Classic 09 to be staged at Desaru on the 14th & 15th August 09 are as follows -
6th - Kenneth John Smith - 77 - representing Warren
from left to right - Kim Leikdang playing off 2 representing ASM sponsor's Norgas Ong Cheow Eng representing Golf Digest Kenneth John Smith playing off 1.4 representing Waqrren Akshay Maliwal playing off 3.5 representing SICC
from left to right - Chris Yeo representing ASM sponsor's Transvert Chuan Campbell Chariman of the Asian Seniors Tour Rickard Hogberg representing Sentosa
Craig McGee representing AST sponsor's Oxley Capital Group who had the most eventful day of all in addition to coming 6th with a credible 77 ( shooting a personal best ) had the unfortunate bad luck of having a tree fall on his car smashing his rear window and then to add insult to injury managed to go home with Rickard's goody bag and dirty laundry!

Saturday 15th August
– 7.30am > onwards Grand Finalists check into Desaru Golden Beach Resort
– 7.30am > onwards Grand Finalists registration ( RM 130 ) at Desaru GCC for the Srixon Desaru Classic 09 presented by the Oxley Capital Group
– 10.30am > Grand Final's – Day 1
– 7.30pm > Welcome Dinner for the Srixon Desaru Classic 09 presented by the Oxley Capital Group
Sunday 16th August
– 6.30am > onwards breakfast – Desaru Golden Beach Resort
– 7.00am > onwards registration – Desaru GCC
– 7.30am > Final Day of the Srixon Desaru Classic 09 presented by the Oxley Capital Group
– 1.pm > onwards buffet lunch – Desaru Golden Beach Resort
